HeptaOrbiforms are precision machined from solid bars of brass, copper or stainless steel.
All of our Solids of Constant width are 1.4 in. (35.5 mm) in width.
Stainless Steel weighs 161 g (5.67 oz.)
Brass weighs 159 g (5.96 oz.)
Copper weighs 180 g (76.35 oz.)
Brass and Copper oxidize when exposed to oxygen in the air, and over time will naturally patina and darken (just like a penny). Brass and Copper can easily be cleaned in seconds with a cleaning cream. Our cleaning directions can be found here. Stainless steel does not patina. Stainless steel is also a much harder metal, and is less easily scratched than copper or brass.
