Math History

An Orbiform is a little-known, unintuitive geometric shape, with fascinating mathematical properties. Orbiforms were unwittingly used by polymath Leonardo da Vinci in 1514, mathematically discovered by mathematician Leonhard Euler in 1771 and placed in application by engineer Franz Reuleaux in 1876. Today, we’re producing these these shapes to extremely high quality standards so math and science lovers can enjoy them.

Cleaning and Care

Copper and Brass Orbiforms will naturally patina over time. If you would like to remove the patina, we suggest using a patina remover. We recommend Wright's Copper Cream. We have no affiliation with this product, we just think it works well and is inexpensive. It can be found in many stores and online retailers.

Though not necessary, It can also be used on steel Orbiforms to remove fingerprints, dirt and grease.
