da Vinci's Skeletal Dodecahedron
da Vinci's Skeletal Dodecahedron
This skeletal Dodecahedron is modeled after Leonardo da Vinci’s diagrams from De divina proportione (On Divine Proportion) which was published in 1509. As far as we know, this is the first time da Vinci’s hollow model has been CNC machined.

Design Notes
Note: the “Raw Aluminum - Machine” option is not the same as “Silver Anodized” colored. Raw Aluminum is a machine finish which has not been altered after it leaves the machine, because of this, some of the edges might feel sharp since they are very crisp. There will be some marks and scratches inherent in this process. Silver Anodized is very similar to an Apple Computer. “Raw Aluminum - Satin” is raw aluminum which has a light bead blast, this finish is not protected by an anodized layer. If you want silver, but are unsure which is right for you, we suggest anodized silver.
